Loring News for August 21

What a week! Sympathy to the Glenn Compton family and to the Justin Lucas family! Two huge funerals for the week. So much sadness.

I spent the week house/dog sitting in Billings. I picked up Fran Compton from the airport and we drove up to Malta for Glenn's funeral. Fran is Glenn's niece. We have been friends for life! She stayed at my house while I went back to Billings. Fran is reconnecting with the community where her grandparents lived.

On Sunday I drove back from Billings and met Fran and Lu Besel to take in the Fort Peck Theater, On Golden Pond! Very good!

Many friends and relatives met in Loring to pay respects to Justin Lucas. The time of saying goodbye brings so many people together and memories shared.

A shout out to Murray Matthews and Larry and Martha Dyrdahl. Longtime friends who just reconnected with me.

Might still see some meteorite but the moon is still bright! Tell your loved ones that you love them! Till next week!
