Sharon Emond captured a first place finish with a tally of 6,270 and achieved 1,500 trump, , Jeanette Heinle was second with 5,550, while the traveling prize was award to both Shirley Jones and Clarence Jacobson.

Malta Duplicate Bridge

In a closely contested game held last Wednesday, August 14, Kerry Faaborg and Lois Good heart ranked first. Bob Maxie and Bonnie Millar tied with Mary LaFond and Margo Rush for second.
