TV District meeting

First Tuesday. Phillips County TV District has their TV Board Meeting on the first Tuesday of the month at 5:30 p.m. in the P.C. Library basement meeting room. All are welcome.

No Story Time in August

August: The Phillips County Library will not have Story Time during the month of Au-gust. Story Time will resume at 10:30 am on Wednesday, September 11.

Zortman to Landusky Hike

8-10. A Zortman to Landusky Hike will take place on Saturday, August 10 starting at 9 a.m. in Zortman. Meet at Miner’s Café parking lot. More information contact Laura Pankratz 406-390-3460. See you there!

Reading Program conclusion

8-9. The Summer Reading Program ends on Friday, August 9, with an Ice Cream Sundae Party at the Library Basement Meeting Room at 2:30 p.m.

Historical Society Meeting

8-12. The Phillips County Historical Society meeting will be held Monday, August 12, at 6:30 p.m. at the Phillips County Museum. Everyone welcome.

RSA meeting

8-13. You’re invited to attend the Ranchers Stewardship Alliance meeting on Tuesday, August 13 at 6 p.m., Malta Business Center, Ste. #4. For questions, call the RSA office at 654-1405.

Malta School’s Summer Bands

8-13 through 16. The Malta Public School’s Summer band will begin in HS band room - August 13 - 16 for new band students! Questions or information please call Erik Engebretson at 301-1258.

Knights of Columbus BBQ Competition

8-17. The 1st Annual Knights of Columbus BBQ Competition will be Saturday, August 17 and besides the competition, the day will include a Cornhole Tournament, Silent Auction, Team Calcutta, Vendors, Food and Drink, Door Prizes and raffles. Senior Center 50th

8-17. The Malta Senior Center celebration of 50th anniversary will be held on Saturday, August 17, from 1-to-3 p.m., with cake, coffee, and lemonade. Open to the public.

Saco Stars & Stripes Talent Show

8-31. The Saco Chamber of Commerce will host the Stars & Stripes Talent Show on Saturday, August 31 at 3 p.m. at Miller Park. Patriotic Themed Acts Only, cash prizes, and the entry deadline is Wednesday, August 21. Only 20 acts accepted, no entry fee, so call 406-301-2034 or Email [email protected] for more information. Special Guest Entertainers throughout the evening. Tickets are $5 and children under 5 are free.
