One Nation, Under God
So many deaths lately — our little community is hurting and we are missing so many friends and people we have known. Kimberly Dawn Solberg Adkins, daughter of Sid and Merrimae Solberg, passed away Friday, July 5th in Great Falls. Graveside services for burial of her ashes will be held Sunday, July 14th at 1:30 p.m. at the Dodson cemetery after services for her in Great Falls. Lunch and fellowship will follow at the Lutheran Church served by the Lutheran and Catholic ladies. Everyone is welcome. Condolences are sent to the extended Solberg families. The community remembers Kimberly as she grew up and attended school in Dodson.
Polly Solberg and Dora Henry attended the funeral of Bob Darrah in Malta on Wednesday. Dora is the aunt of Barb and was glad to see several nieces and nephews there even on such a sad occasion. Sympathy is extended to all Barb's family and the Darrah family.
We have still been having rain showers and thunderstorms almost every night — it's nice but we need a little break for a while.
A Bible School will be held at the Lutheran Church on July 22 through July 26 in the afternoons from 2 to 4 p.m. Everyone is welcome and urged to come for fellowship, crafts, togetherness, and fun. If you need more information call Polly Solberg in Dodson or Mrs. Colleen Haney in Malta.
Robbie Bear was in town on Sunday mowing and cleaning the Haubrich property. There are several more that need to be caught and mowed between rains. They are getting pretty overgrown and ragged. Terri Cole was mowing around the downtown area on Friday.
No church services were held at the Lutheran Church on Sunday.
Again, condolences to all the families that have lost loved ones this last bit. May God be with you!
Birthday greetings to John KillEagle and Wesley KillEagle Jr. and everyone having a birthday this week and to everyone having an anniversary. Congratulations!
You're getting old when you get the same sensations from a rocking chair that you once got from a roller coaster!
