One Nation, Under God
I’m not sure if I have written anything about this but…Our house is unofficially off the market. It looks like we are setting up to rough it through at least one more winter here in Malta.
Simply put, we need to redo the siding on our house.
Staying for us is not a bad thing. There are worse places I could be. We love it here for the most part. We love our jobs. We love the people here. We love the community. Everyone has been really encouraging throughout this process. Thank you for your kind words and not wanting us to leave.
The last month has been one of our favorite months here. We have had the joy of watching PJ play T-Ball and Lincoln become sweeter than usual.
I have been roasting a lot more coffee than usual. I have had a blast traveling up and down the Hi-Line to cover the swim team. I have enjoyed plenty of baseball in its various forms and my dog Bruce even got a haircut!
Yes, our dog for some reason is really aggressive towards strangers so we took him to the vet to get a haircut! He had to get a tranquilizer to do so, but now he looks happy, healthy, youthful, and a lot less like me. I think he had dreadlocks just like his human dad.
Phillips County is a place that you can easily take for granted because it is a small town, but as Susan, the boys, and I enjoy this summer and eventually prepare our hearts for another winter, I promise to make the most of our time here, just in case.
I am looking forward to another year of PC sports. I enjoy watching our students grow in sports every year. I also enjoy interactions with the athletes and coaches as they strive to reach their goals.
