Clubs fly at Parks and Rec Golf Camp

The Malta Department of Parks and Recreation held the first session of their 2019 Jumnior Golf Camp last week at Marian Hills Golf Course in Malta.

The event hosted 12 third through fifth grade students from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Tuesday, June 11 through Thursday, June 13.

The counselors explained that the youth campers were working on some of the basics and fundamentals of the game of golf. Those fundamentals included putting, gripping, hitting, how to stand and when and where to use certain clubs.
