One Nation, Under God
Greetings readers of the Phillips County News! The week started out cool but we warmed up by the end of the week to 80+! As someone said we had our two weeks of spring and now it is summer!
Most of the ranchers have finished up their branding of the calves and have moved the herd out to the summer pasture. Let's pray for the grass to be plentiful, and the rains to come!
I have received so much support from the residents of Phillips County since Tom passed away, I am humbled. Thank you, everyone!
I went to Glendive with the paleontologists of GPDM for a workshop on preserving the fossils in collections on Tuesday through Thursday. We stopped in Glasgow at the Valley County Museum and in Fort Peck.
Carol Lumsden, Whitney Blunt, and Carmen Norville had a garage sale on Saturday! It was a long, busy day.
David and Cindy Clark took a road trip to the west coast and the giant redwoods. They had a great time seeing the sights. Glad they are back safe and sound!
The Annual Loring picnic is coming up on June 19 at 5:30! Come to the park in Loring and enjoy the fellowship, comradery, and share a salad or dessert. There will be some lawn games, lots of visiting and a tiny bit of bs!
Until next time!
