One Nation, Under God
I know I've been remiss in getting my news into the paper on time. I have it written, but just don't get it sent in. So sorry.
The last couple of weeks I've been spending a lot of time with Tom at the Hi-Line Retirement Center. He is receiving good care, and physical therapy, three meals a day. But on the other hand, it is really quiet at my home.
I do get to see a few people who I like to visit there, Betty Jo Compton, Debbie Dyrdahl, Lois Waters, who come to visit their loved ones. Bruce and Lynn Hill stopped by on Sunday and Orvin Solberg dropped by on Friday. Thank you very much for taking the time to stop by. Tom doesn't converse much, but I like to.
Gail Wilcott and Diana Engel came over to my house on Saturday. We had a great visit.
I saw three great blue herons on my way to Billings last week! I'm looking forward to the goldfinches, lark buntings, Orioles and a few house finches and the chattering of the eastern and western kingbirds!
Mike Briggs of Billings was up visiting at the Pete Lumsden home.
On Thursday a music group led by Wes Urbaniak was performing at the Blue Ridge Brewery. I stopped to listen to the bass player since my nephew also is a bass player! It was worth it! Have a great week. The moon is waxing to full soon! In fact it is a blue moon this weekend which means it is the third full moon out of four in the season. So it's a seasonal blue moon. The other blue moon is when two full moons are in one month.
