Malta teams win in Havre

The Mustangs and M-ettes teams swept the Havre Invitational varsity track meets on Saturday, May 4, with each team scoring over 100 points.

Headed into the district meet, the Malta track teams have gone back to back weeks with multiple meets.

"We were pretty tired Saturday and still performed fairly well," Malta Head Coach Jim Benn said. "We didn't have a lot of personal bests but with having four meets in two weeks that's generally not going to happen."

Coach Benn believes that the team may perform better at the district meet and beyond, given they are back to only one meet a week.
