PHILLIPS COUNTY CONSERVATION DISTRICT BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT-IN THE MATTER OF American Prairie Reserve’s Petition for Variance from Phillips Conservation District Ordinance 2016-1. A Board of Adjustment (Board) has been convened to decide a petition for variance filed by American Prairie Reserve (APR) with the Phillips Conservation District (District). The petition seeks a variance from the District’s Ordinance 2016-1, “An Ordinance for the Protection of Soil and Water from all Bison/Buffalo Grazing in Phillips Conservation District.” A qualified elector within the Phillips Conservation District who objects to or supports the authorizing of the variance requested in this matter may intervene and become a party to the proceedings upon approval by the Board. A party to the hearing before the Board may appear in person, by agent, or by attorney. However, all legal entities seeking intervention, including but not limited to corporations, limited liability companies, trusts, partnerships, and not for profit associations, must be represented by an attorney licensed to practice law in the state of Montana throughout the proceedings. A legal entity may qualify as a qualified elector for the purposes of this proceeding if that entity has a principal or officer who is a qualified elector within the district. Parties granted intervention by the Board must appear and present testimony and any other evidence in person and be subject to cross-examination. Written comments will not be accepted by the Board as a substitute for in-person presentation of testimony and any other evidence. Any Taxpayer who disagrees with the appraised value of their property may file an appeal with the Phillips County Tax Appeal Board within 30 days of the date on your Notice of Classification and Appraisal from the Department of Revenue or 30 days after you receive a decision from the Department of Revenue following an informal review under Form AB-26.

TOWN OF DODSON
DODSON WATER CONTROL BUILDING
May 7, 2018
The Montana Department of Environmental Quality has reviewed the above-named project. The project consists of replacement of the existing deficient water control building with a new facility at the same location. The town obtains drinking water from two wells that are manifolded together in the control building. The new facility will house the piping manifold, meter, and connection to a common main that delivers water to the town’s water tank. All construction will take place on property owned by the town.
Pursuant to ARM 17.40.318, the Department of Environmental Quality has concluded that the proposed project meets the Categorical Exclusion criteria of the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) and the Montana Environmental Policy Act (MEPA).
The documentation for the categorical exclusion, including a map of the proposed improvements, is available for public review at the following locations:
