One Nation, Under God

Loring News for April 24, 2019

I saw two pheasant roosters fighting for territory close to 191N yesterday. I forgot how bright and flashy they are in the spring!

Lots of Easter celebrating going on in the Loring community! Becca and Robert Engum from Great Falls enjoyed their stay with Dave and Cindy Clark. The Johannesen's had a crew and double celebration with Iver's birthday!

David, Brandie and Rocco Stordahl drove up from Billings in a strong side wind on Friday. They stopped in Malta to see Tom in the hospital before coming to Loring. Also Jeannie Schroeder and girls, Saige and Zoey, drove up to see us too! Rocco was riding the four-wheeler and came back to report that the hills were covered with purple flowers! I asked if he picked his gramma a handful but he replied, no but mom took a bunch of pictures! We celebrated our April birthdays and had a ton of laughter!

Mick and Paula Morrison have returned to the north! They spent Easter with Jason and Cherisha Morrison. Tawnya and Jake Coleman and boys were here also. They were hunters at the HLRC for the Easter egg hunt. Have you ever seen so many eggs cowering from so many hunters?

Kyson also celebrated his birthday on Easter!

Cindy Clark hosted Loring Womans Club on Wednesday. The Gopher shoot on May 4 was discussed and how we could help out.

Our prayers to all of the people affected by the bombings in Sri Lanka, killing so many! As I looked at the moon early this morning and saw Jupiter fairly close, I thought about how this same view is seen all around the world. How amazing is this planet, even when bad things happen.

Until later...
