P.C. Museum Opens for the season

Phillips County Museum opens its doors Monday, April 1, 2019. Monday-Saturday 10-5.

Malta VFW Auxiliary meeting

4-10. The Malta VFW Auxiliary will hold its regular monthly meeting on Wednesday, April 10 at the VFW Club. 6pm. Election of officers. Members please attend.

Presentation on trafficked and missing persons

4-11. The Montana Department of Justice Division of Criminal Investigation is hosting informative two-part presentation: “Learn how to Recognize, Respond and Report human trafficking.” The session also includes information about the Montana Missing Persons Clearing-house; Missing Endangered Persons Advisory and Amber Alerts. The event will be held on Thursday, April 11, starting at the 6:30 p.m. at the Malta High School Auditorium and concluding at 8 p.m.

Montana Veterans Affairs

4-11. Judy Loendorf and/or Steve Mulonet, Service Officers for the Montana Veterans Affairs will be visiting Malta City Hall on Thursday, April 11, from 9:30 until 11:30 a.m. to meet with Veterans who are interested in applying for benefits. If you are interested in applying for benefits, please bring a copy of your discharge paperwork with you.

District 12 Pre—Festival Concert at Malta High School

4-11. The District 12 Pre-festival concert begins at 3:15 p.m. at Malta High School on Thursday, April 11, and ends about 5:00 p.m. The Band/Choir and Gym will be used for the concert and the public is welcome to attend.

Raise the Roof Fundraiser

4-12. The Phillips County Coalition for Healthy Choices and Malta Boys & Girls Club will host the “Raise the Roof” fundraiser on Friday, April 12 starting at 6 p.m. A Spaghetti Dinner followed by Live, and Silent Auctions are at the Malta Boys & Girls Club, located at 101 South 7th Street West. Tickets for the event can be purchased from Boys & Girls Club Staff and students.

Malta Eighth Grade High School Orientation

4-15. The Malta Middle High School Orientation for Malta Middle School parents and students will be held in Monday, April 15 from 12 p.m. until 6 p.m.

Kiwanis Meeting

4-16. Attention Kiwanis! We will meet Tuesday, April 16 at 5:30 p.m. at Westside Self Service. Time for Highway 2 clean-up.

P.E.O. Professional Day

4-24. The P.E.O. Professional Day Salad Luncheon will be Wednesday, April 24th from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Little White Church. $8.00, carryout available. Proceeds for Scholarships.

Laser Tag in Malta

4-26 & 27. A two-day Laser Tag event will be happening in Malta at the Milk River Pavilion on Friday and Saturday, April 26 and 27, hosted by the Malta Chamber of Commerce. There will be three sessions; open laser tag for all ages from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Friday night and adults only laser tag from 7:30 p.m. until 9:30 p.m. On Saturday, open laser tag for all ages will start at 10 a.m. and run until 3 p.m. More information about this event will be in a feature story in the PCN next week.
