One Nation, Under God
It is so good to be back home finally although I was well taken care of while I was gone. When my son Bill picked me up to take me to Billings for what I thought was a simple receiving of a new Pace-maker I expected to be gone three days---three weeks later my daughter Teri Leys picked me up and brought me home, then to Glasgow for a check of the pace-maker by people from the heart clinic of Billings and she stayed several days to help me get settled and "caught up" before having to go home. Hopefully, everything is going good and things can again return to normal. It was so stormy, cold and there was so much snow it was nice to sort of just be inside.
On Wednesday the 6th Polly Solberg drove to Miles City to join son Nathan and grandson Devon to go to Sioux Falls, South Dako. for the wedding of Kiana Henneberry and Jeffrey Johnson. Kiana is Polly's step-granddaughter. Although the weather and the roads were very bad they had a wonderful time. Polly was also able to see the Devil's Tower in Wyoming, Crazy Horse in South Dakota and the Wall Drug in South Dakota. Polly thought the roads were much nicer in Montana to come home!
On Thursday this week, Polly was in Malta to take Eva Bruckner to Senior lunch at the GN.
Everyone has been enjoying the warmer temperatures and melting that is finally happening AND the fact that it is so far going off slowly, we don't want any flooding There is a lot of ice under the snow now from the melting and then freezing at night. Sunday early we saw a heavy fog again but then the day turned warm and very nice.
Terri Cole is doing good after her surgery and when we called, Wink said they would be coming home this week.
Good to see everyone coming home again.
Birthday greetings are sent to Berta Anderson, Nellie Sherman, Serese Pankratz and all others celebrating a birthday these last few weeks, hope if you had one it was a good one!
Hard work is the best way to gain self-respect!
Have a good week--enjoy the nicer weather and the birds that are appearing and starting to be heard and seen again.
