One Nation, Under God
Which of the two acts will be on the grandstand first at this year's Phillips County Fair in Dodson is still a question, but the talent that will be playing this year's big concert is not.
The Randy Rogers Band and Casey Donahew Band will be featured in concert at the 104th Phillips County Fair this August. Fair Board member Eric Wilke told the PCN that both bands will play full 75-to-90-minute concerts on Friday, August 2, and the board is thrilled to bring these Country Music acts to Dodson.
"We are excited to have the Casey Donahew Band back, they opened for Clay Walker in 2015 and put on a great show so having them back to perform a full show will be a treat," Wilke said. "The Randy Rogers Band has a new album being released in April so it's always fun to have a band with a new album perform at the Phillips County Fair. They have been together for over 17 years so you will hear many familiar songs."
The Casey Donahew Band last played in Phillips County Fair at the 100th Anniversary and prior to that, Donahew told the PCN and concert-goers what to expect when he and the boys take the stage.
"Other than the greatest time they have ever had?" asked Donahew. "We made a reputation over the last 13 years of putting on a great live show. I think our signature is our live shows and we get on stage and give it our all for however long we are up there."
