One Nation, Under God

Loring News for February 20, 2019

I'm not sure what happened to the Loring News Notes from last week, except they may have gotten frozen in the air! Anyway, I can't find them! It was a little warmer this past week, got a bit of dripping from the roof, but not much! And now it has snowed enough to blow into harder drifts! The daylight is noticeably longer, though and that lifts my heart!

Rodney Stordahl and I drove to Billings to visit with family. The roads were actually really good for this unpredictable time of year. My dad always called February fickle, never knew how she would be feeling! Lol

I went to Whitewater school to observe on Tuesday. It was fun visiting with my old colleagues! I missed seeing Linda Berg, but I hope she's doing well in this weather! I did go down to LuluBelle Besel's for a cup of tea before I headed home.

I did see many bald eagles and hawks on the road to Billings on Friday! Must be a sign that spring is on the way!

Congrats to the showing at Divisional Basketball North Country girls!

The Turner Tornados had a great tournament at the Northern C! They stole the hearts of many commentators! Congrats to you, girls!

Let's not leave the M-ettes out of our congratulations! Way to keep us on the edge of our seats! Good job, everyone!

Keep blowing your bubbles and looking for signs of spring!
