Martha M. (Kelsey) Thompson

Martha M. (Kelsey) Thompson, born January 4, 1922 went to be with her lord on Christmas Eve, 2018. She was 11 days shy of her 97th Birthday. Martha was a long-time resident of Malta, Mont., spending her later years with her son and family in Phoenix, Ariz.

She loved growing plants and in earlier years had one of the largest gardens in Malta. She was a house cleaner and homemaker. Martha never met a stranger and had many friends.

Martha was preceded in death by three husbands: Louie Olson, Arthur Ferguson and Ernest Thompson; three children: William Charles, Elma and Thelma Olson; sisters: Lulu Messerly, Lily Short, Rose Fore; brothers: Tom and Jimmy Kelsey and parents: Charley and Madeline Kelsey.

She is survived by her son and daughter in law, Art and Lois Ferguson of Phoenix, Ariz., and her sister and brother in law, Thelma and Don Seyfert of Great Falls, Mont.

Per her request, she wished to be cremated and her ashes scattered in Montana. Memorial Services will be in June of 2019.
