One Nation, Under God
The sky has been clear for most of the week. The half moon very visible in the evening in the west and the morning star or Venus twinkling brightly in the eastern sky! The high temps have been in the 40's and 50's, just right for sitting on the deck for this retired teacher and her husband!
Tom Stordahl and I went to Glasgow on Monday to see an ortho doctor. It's amazing how many specialists are out there!
I visited with Gene Compton of Boulder, Mont., on Friday, in the Albertsons parking lot. As I commented in one previous column shopping for groceries can lead to many visits with people who I don't see very often.
Just to let you know, my Amyrilis is starting to bloom! It is a beautiful red!
The Lumsden family spent Sunday at Nelson Lake, ice fishing and having fun. They may have even taken a dip, but not in the lake, maybe in the Sleeping Buffalo Hot Springs!
I drove to Whitewater School on Tuesday to meet with Gail Wilcott and Carly Prestwich. The school is still going strong, even without me! That's not surprising!
Diana Engel and I traded jigsaw puzzles. I am in the middle of my fourth one this month! I haven't put a puzzle together since 2008. I also visited with Lynn Hill, Heidi Cummings, and Dawn Stenvik.
Loring Woman's Club will meet on Wednesday at Whitney Blunt's home at 7.
On Sunday, the Loring Lutheran Church will hold services at 9 with an annual meeting immediately afterward! Everyone is welcome!
Be thankful for these warm temperatures. The snow or rain will come! Have faith!
