Hi-Line Whist

12-23. On Sunday, December 23, Pearl and Jackie won the first game by a 13-1 score and Lois and Agnes won the second game by a 15-1 tally.

“These were two fun games,” Pearl reported. “We took them to the cleaners and then they took us to the cleaners.”

12.28. We will miss Agnes as she was our number 1 player. All of our prayers go out to her family.

1-4. The HLRC Whist Club is in need of players. Contact HLRC at 654-1190 for more information.

1-11. No whist as Lois was sick. We pray she gets better.

1-16. The HLRC Whist Club is still in need of players.

Pinochle

12-27. Leonard Leader took first place with 7.710, Barb Stevens was second with 6,190, and the traveling prize was awarded to both Malcolm Clouse and Leonard Leader.

1-3. Ron Lundman took first place with 5,910, Harvey Smith was second with 5,570, and Jeannette Heinle and Lee Stevens shared the traveling prize.

1-7. Harvey Smith took first with 5,9330, second was earned by Lee Stevens who scored 6,310, and the traveling prize was shared by Harvey Smith and Sherman Doucette.

1-10. First place was earned by Nina Jones with a score of 6,340, second went to Ron Lundman who notched 6,310, and the traveling prize went to Al Kroll and Ken Ruzicka.
