Sophomore Lady North Country Maverick Kaitlyn McColly was selected to the 2018 District 3C Volleyball All-Conference List.
"She is an athlete," Mavericks Coach Charlene Wasson said. "I think overall her best quality for our team this year was her ability to pass the ball in a pretty accurate fashion."
McColly was joined by five other selections from 3C, a district only consisting of the Scobey Spartans, North Country, and the Lustre Christian Lady Lions.
The list only had first-team selections as well as three all-state selections. First-team honors went to junior Kortney Nelson of Scobey, sophomore Grace Lekvold (libero) of Scobey, Katelyn Lamb a senior from Scobey, senior Sadie Brown of Lustre Christian, senior Alex Lapke of Scobey and McColly. Nelson, Lekvold, and Lamb were each selected to the all-state team.
McColly led the Mavericks in a majority of the team's individual categories including kills with 152, blocks with 79, in passing rating with a 1.4, and serve percentage with 90 percent of those serves being playable. She was also third in digs with 188.
Maverick sophomore Kia Wasson led the team in digs with 251 and attack rating with 14 percent. Jaycee Erickson led the team in assists with 139. Wasson had 136 assists.
McColly and Wasson tied for the team lead in aces with 42 each.
Jaydyn Erickson was second in team kills with 126 kills, second in blocks with 38, and third in aces with 29.
Chaykota Christensen had 122 digs.
Elise Strommen was second in digs with 204.
