One Nation, Under God

A warning to be leery of what signs you post on your land

Dear Editor,

The other evening I received a call from an American Prairie Reserve employee. He was informing me that the permission that we have always had to cross about ¼ of a mile on their land, to access the county road to a trail our cows home was denied. When I asked why he replied that it was not personal just business. We had purchased and displayed on our private land a sign saying “Save the Cowboys — Stop American Prairie Reserve.” They felt this was opposing their private property rights and decided to deny us access across their land.

Our sign display is a First Amendment right and we will not be detoured by their business decision.

Just a warning, if you purchase and display one of these signs on your private property you may be subject to an American Prairie Reserve business decisions.
