On October 3, Leonard Leader took first with 43, Buck Taylor and Harvey Smith took second with 39 and the traveling prize was awarded to Malcolm Clouse.
Pinochle
On November 11, Al Kroll was first, second was Buck Taylor, and the traveling prize was awarded to Buck and Noel Emond.
Bridge
On Monday, October 29, Cathy Salsbery and Bonnie Millar captured first place. Nellie Ereaux and Madelyn Anderson tied with Bob Maxie and Malcolm Clouse for second.
Wednesday winners were Kerry Faaborg and Margo Rush. Second was earned by Malcolm Clouse and Bob Maxie.
Hi-Line Whist
Tuesday, October 20, Jackie and Pearl defeated Lois and Delores in two straight, 14-4 and 14-3, to sweep the day’s action.
“We did set them a lot, but they will make us suffer next time,” Pearl reports.
On Friday, November 2, Lois and Agnes won the first game 14-8 and Jackie and Pearl won the second game 15-9.
“It was a fun game and we each won one which made us all happy,” Pearl said.
