One Nation, Under God
Greetings on this fine fall Sunday! The whole week the highs were in the upper 60's while the lows were around the freezing mark. And the extra bonus, not much wind! The robins are still hanging around, yea!
The funeral for Earl Wasson was on Saturday. It is a familiar lament that we don't see that many friends except at funerals and weddings. I am happy that we can get together and renew old acquaintances even as we say goodbye to a neighbor. Donna Dyrdahl and Gwen Henderson were some who drove many miles to pay respects. I also visited with Murray Matthews.
On Wednesday Dixie Stordahl celebrated National Fossil Day with the students at Whitewater. Don't forget Loring Woman's Club at Amy Simonson's home on Wednesday the 24th at 7. Loring Lutheran Church will meet for services on Oct 28, at 9. Cindy Clark will deliver the
message.
There is a new house in Loring! Seth Anderson has put a house in on the hill, old Joe Carrigan's place. Welcome to Loring, Seth!
Good luck to Keira Simonson as she competes in the INRA in Vegas this week. Good luck!
I had a nice visit with Shirley Dunbar the other day. She was wondering who worked in the garage when Fred Robinson first owned it. I just know that Grandpa Stubblefield worked there in the late 30's or early 40's. But Shirley said that Holly Hollywell and guy by the name of Marriage worked for Fred after the Fort Peck Dam was built. I do know Holly worked for Norman Dyrdahl for many years.
