Terri Cole attended a meeting in Malta on Wednesday.

Polly Solberg and Dora Henry were in Malta on Thursday and visited Jan Edmister and the three enjoyed the congregate meal at the GN.

The kids enjoyed a break from school this week with teacher’s convention and the nice weather.

Good to see Laura Cole back at the Wapatau Center this week.

We have been enjoying the warmer temperatures and sunshine this week. Our Indian Summer finally arrived. Mornings are colder but then warms up during the day, but Friday turned colder again. Saturday was a beautiful day, up to 68 degrees and Sunday followed with a 63.

My neighbor received a big load of firewood — is this a hint? or a forewarning?

Bill Henry brought takeout and had supper with his mom Dora one day this week.

Thursday was a big day for observers and others (the sidewalk superintendents) in Malta as work was in full swing to start the new NAPA building. It will be nice to see a building again after the fire destroyed the Spaulding Building and the whole corner of downtown in 2004. Bill Henry is pouring the slab for the new building.

Edmund and Gloria Mortenson, Virginia Solberg, Dean and Carol Kienenberger, Polly Solberg, and Dora Henry enjoyed the delicious ham dinner at the Harlem Lutheran Church on Sunday.
