2018 REAL PROPERTY TAXES DUE
All 2018 Real Property tax statements in Phillips County have been mailed. If you have not received your bill(s) please contact the Phillips County Treasurer’s Office IMMEDIATELY at 406-654-1742. The first half of 2018 Real Property taxes are due by 5:00 p.m. on or before November 30, 2018 and the second half taxes are due by 5:00 p.m. on or before May 31, 2019. If the first and second halves are not paid, the amount payable is delinquent and draws interest at the rate of 5/6 of 1% a month after the delinquency until paid and 2% must be added to the delinquent taxes as a penalty (MCA 7-1-2121).

NOTICE OF UPCOMING ELECTION
Friday, October 12, 2018, the Phillips County Election Office mailed ballots for the upcoming Federal General Election to be held Tuesday, November 6, 2018 to 77% of the registered voters or 1,885 ballots. If you are a registered voter and wish to have a ballot mailed to you, please contact the Election Office at 654-2423.
Persons who are not registered to vote must appear in person at the Election Office with proper identification, register to vote and be issued a ballot. All absentee ballots and ballots from late registrants must be received no later than 8:00 p.m. on Election Day, November 6, 2018 for your vote to count.
All active and inactive voters that have not received an absentee ballot may vote in person by presenting proper identification at the Courthouse Lower Level from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Election Day, November 6, 2018.
