One Nation, Under God
Soon the first official day of fall will arrive! The cottonwood tree leaves are turning golden but no frost yet! The songbirds are stopping in droves to grab a bit of nutrition from our trees and sunflowers. The robins are using the bird bath all day long! They aren't the least bit modest!
Loring was blessed by a little rain again on the weekend! Every little bit helps to reduce the fire danger and makes the grass happier! The storm in North Carolina reminds me of how fortunate we are here. No hurricanes, few tornadoes, no huge sandstorms, just a few months of cold weather and hopefully some snow!
Along with fall comes the time with cows, prep testing, and getting them ready for winter. The calves will be weaned soon. I see Gene Compton moved a trailer full of his cows out the other day!
Dixie Stordahl visited with Cindy Clark on Saturday.
Beau Simonson plays football with the Mustangs. They had a great game against Conrad. Kia and Paige Wasson both play volleyball with the North Country Mavericks. They had a home game on Saturday and won two, lost two and then lost the last one! Next time! They are coached by Mrs. Wasson.
Keira Simonson was in Miles City barrel racing this past weekend. She won it! Congrats! Kenny and Brenda Clark and kids participated in the Ryan Oly Olsen Dart Tournament in Whitewater over the weekend!
Sympathy is extended to the Slade family on the loss of Frances Slade. Blessings to all for a beautiful fall!
