9-12. The Malta VFW Auxiliary will hold its monthly meeting on Wednesday, September 12, at 6 p.m. VFW Club. Please attend.
Malta City Pool Doggie Dip
9-13. On Thursday, September 13, the Malta City Pool will be the site of a Doggie Dip from 4:30 p.m. until 6 p.m. Admission is $2 for 1 dog and 1 human, each additional human is also $1. Participating dogs must get along with other dogs and strangers, be on a leash and current on shots. Hosted by Malta Parks & Rec. Quilting Club 30th
9-15. Malta's Hands All Around Quilt Club celebrating 30th Birthday party on September 15 at Malta Lutheran Church. Registration 10:30-11:30 and lunch 11:30-12:30. Call Jodee 654-4101.
Senior taco Dinner
9-15. The Malta Senior Center is hosting an Indian Taco Feed on Saturday, September 15 from 11:30 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. See advertisement on this page.
Kiwanis Meeting at HLRC
9-18. Attention Kiwanis members and friends! NO usual business meeting on Tuesday, September 18. Instead we will meet at 5 p.m. at the Hi-Line Retirement Center gazebo area to stain the gazebo. Wear grubbies and bring a rag.
First Aid, CPR & AED Class
9-21. Phillips County Ambulance Service will be hosting a First Aid, CPR & AED Class on Friday, September 21 starting at 9 a.m. This class is limited to eight people and it will be served as first come, first serve. The cost of the class is $50 per person. Call 654-2336 for more info.
Co-ed Softball Fundraiser
9-22. The Malta Parks & Rec is hosting a Co-ed Softball Tournament Fundraiser on Saturday, September 22 starting at 11 a.m. Entry fee is $200 per team and team forms need to be submitted by Friday. September 14. Call Julie at 654-4178 or Natalie at 520-686-0986 for more information.
MHS Class of ’68 Reunion
9-28 & 29. MHS Class of 1968 Reunion is scheduled for September 28 & 29, 2018.
GN Lodge will serve as the meeting area and meal location for the weekend. All meals will be no host.
September 28:
11:30 lunch followed by the homecoming parade, Class of 1968 to participate in the parade.
After the parade, return to the GN Lodge for visiting & a supper meal. That evening the class will attend the Homecoming game seated together.
Following the game, the class will return to the GN Lodge for reminiscing and fun & games.
September 29:
Start the day at 10 a.m. with brunch at the GN Lodge.
