Prestwich joins Whitewater teaching staff

Carly Prestwich, a Class of 2010 Graduate of Malta High School, starts her first year as an educator at Whitewater Schools. The following is quick "get-to-know them surveys."

Hometown: Malta, Mont.

Position at Whitewater: Junior High and High School Science teacher.

High School & Grad Year: Malta High School, 2010.

Last teaching job, where, when and what position: MSU-Billings 2 years, WGU 2 years, graduated in May of 2019. I will be student teaching this spring, and then continue my education at WGU (online) to get my science endorsement. Hobbies: Coaching, running, going to the lake, hunting, spending time with my wild 2-year-old.

Favorite Food: Pizza!

What I did this summer: Spent my mornings with my son, Chet, doing yard work and playing in the pool, in the afternoons I worked at Equity Co-op, we spent a lot of time at the lake with the kids, we also played on the softball team "99 Problems, but a Pitch ain't one."

Favorite song (and by whom): "Africa" by Toto.
