One Nation, Under God

Loring News for August 22, 2018

This week the smoke has been so thick in the air that I really believe that the dinosaurs went extinct when the sun was blocked out and vegetation was not available for them to eat! Of course, it would be a lit longer than here, but I do see how it could happen! The smoke is from the fires in the western states, including Montana!

The farmers in the area are stirring up quite a bit of dust as they travel in the field harvesting the crops. I feel bad for everyone since we really have had minimal rain this spring and summer!

I saw a hummingbird slip into my pathetic flower garden this week! My sunflowers got in the way of the Dish and now I've got significantly fewer than I had! I did put out the feeder tho!

The walking bridge over the Milk River looks fantastic! It will be much safer for bikers and walkers crossing the river on highway 2!

Saturday Sacajawea Chapter #37 and the Malta Lodge #57 had a joint installation and enjoyed a barbeque afterwards! I was installed as Conductress, and I was installing marshal.

When we get to see the clear sky, watch for meteors...the Perseids last through September! Til next week!
