On August 9, Leonard Leader took first place with a score of 7,290 and Jerry Depute’s 6,810 was good for second. The traveling prize was awarded to both Jerry and Buck Taylor.

Malta Duplicate Bridge

On Wednesday, August 1, Bob Maxie and Lois Goodheart tied with Madelyn Anderson and Billie Rae Maxie for first place.

The following Wednesday saw Bob and Lois take first while Donna Olson and Mary LaFond finished in second.
