One Nation, Under God

Loring News for June 27, 2018

Debbie and Leroy Dyrdahl were pleasantly surprised last week when Debbie's sister, Jerilyn Bisbee of Denver, Colo., drove up to visit! She did all the cooking and spoiled them with delicious food! Cindy Clark stopped in and they were able to take communion together! The most fun of all was a trip outside around town looking at the different flowers blooming and the birds! Debbie almost got tipped out of the wheelchair a couple times! The best thing was to get out in the fresh air! It's so fun to talk to Debbie!

If you haven't traveled north out of town you are missing a bevy of blooms! The alfalfa, sunflowers and Black-eyed Susans are prolific!

Cary Woodruff, David Stuk, Emily Keeble and I drove to Havre on Saturday to see Jurassic World. Of course, we hit the pet store, Walmart, Earl Clark Museum, Woofers and the two breweries! The movie was given two thumbs up by our group.

And wouldn't you know I traveled 120 miles to see some friends from Whitewater! I ran into Lynn and Bruce Hill! I also was able to visit with Alice Field and Emily Field.

Carol Lumsden and I attended the 100th Anniversary of the Malta Lutheran Church on Sunday! Many of the Whitewater Lutherans also attended! So many old friends! Congrats to them!

A shout out to Pete Lumsden for taking time to put in a new pressure talk and tank tee for us! And Darin Johannesen and crew for investigating and finding the break in our line! We added a tank in our pasture, too. We are blessed to have such wonderful neighbors!

The Loring Womans Club picnic is on Wednesday! Come on out and eat, play games and visit with friends!
