On June 14, Sharon Emond scored a game-high 5,660 to capture fist place; second was garnered by Nina Jones who notched 4,680 and the traveling prize was awarded to both Jeanette Heinle and Buck Taylor.
Hi-Line Whist
On Tuesday, June 12, Pearl and Francis skunked Lois and Clara 13-10 and 13-5 to win all the night's action.
"The cards were really good to us and we had the lucky table-crack on our side," Pearl said.
On Friday, June 15, Clara and Francis swept the action with wins of 13-4 and 15-0 over Lois and Don.
"They did really great and it looks like the little skunk reared his head again and got the best of them.
