Letty was born July 23, 1944, in Harlem, Mont., the third of nine children born to Clifford and Gladys Mummey. She grew up in Harlem and married Lee Williams July 15, 1965, in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. The couple made their home in the Zortman and Landusky area and eventually built the DY Bar. They owned and operated the bar for many years before moving to Landusky in 1982 where she spent the remainder of her life.
Letty loved spending time with family and friends, playing cards, camping and crocheting. She loved to cook and was happiest at home taking care of her family. She loved being able to help raise her grandkids and supporting them in their school activities.
Letty was preceded in death by parents, Clifford and Gladys, husband Lee, infant daughter, Shari Melissa, son, Willie Lee, and sister, Salley Neer.
She is survived by: daughter, Virginia (Matt) Pankratz of Malta, grandchildren, Tel Lee (Amber) Colburn of Shelby, Mont., Jessica Marie (Lennie) Cebulski of Malta, step-grandson, Clinton Tipton (Margo) Pankratz of Cleveland Creek Ranch, south of Chinook, great grandchildren, Scarlett Belle, Trafton Lee and Scotlen Blu Colburn and James Lawrence Pankratz, siblings, Thum and Gloria Mummey of Boulder, Linda and Duane Tangen of Harlem and Wallace Mummey, of Harlem, Judy and Merle Boothe of Helena, Debbie and Floyd Webb of Chester, Rocky and Paula Mummey of Malta, Mike and Marlene Mummey of Hays, Mont.
