Phillips County teams at Top Ten Meet

All four Phillips County teams had at least one student participate in the 2018 North East Top 10 Track and Field Meet in Glasgow on Tuesday, May 1.

Women

For the women, Malta's Erica Smith, a freshman, was the only athlete from Phillips County to take first place in an event, having won the triple jump event. She had a mark of 33-11.75, a new personal best.

"I had gotten my board perfectly the day before at practice and I was like, 'I gotta get this one right,'" Smith said of the jump. "I did and it was good, so I was happy about that."
