Please remember to file a new burn permit for the 2018 year. If you plan on doing any burning in 2018, please file one BEFORE you start to burn. These permits are good for all of 2018 and you only have to file one a year, not every time you burn. All 2017 permits will no longer be valid after December 31, 2017. Thank you!

11:53 a.m. Reserve Deputy performed a welfare check on a possibly abandoned vehicle on Hwy 2.

3:32 p.m. Female reported a possible Violation of a Protection Order; Deputy responded to the call; no violation found as suspect was not where the reporting party said he was.

4:17 p.m. Male reported a vehicle speeding in a residential area; Deputy responded to the call; vehicle located and was not speeding.

5:14 p.m. BNSF Police reported a vehicle “playing chicken with the train” east of Malta; Deputy responded to the call; vehicle not located.

5:33 p.m. Male requested law enforcement assistance for suspicious property found while digging in the dirt; Deputy handled the call.

6:24 p.m. 911 received reporting 3 individuals on dirt bikes headed south of Malta; Deputy responded to the call; individuals located and advised to stay off of the pavement.

8:52 p.m. 911 received reporting a vehicle with “kids hanging on the side” driving down a residential street; unknown description or direction of travel; Deputy responded to the call; vehicle not located.

9:13 p.m. Female requested law enforcement assistance with something the caller found in her yard; Deputy responded to the call.

10:02 p.m. Local business requested law enforcement check out the building as all the lights were now on and had been shut off previously; Deputies responded to the call; all found to be okay and nothing missing.

12:53 a.m. Deputy performed building checks in the Malta area.

12:07 p.m. PC Hospital requested law enforcement assistance with a report of an assault they received; Deputy responded to the call; case file started.

3:23 p.m. Female reported theft of property from her business; Deputy responded to the call; case file started.

5:37 p.m. Male reported someone burning in a residential yard; Deputy responded to the call and advised the individual to put it out.

5:43 p.m. Female reported a “vehicle running with blaring music” outside of her apartment; Deputy responded to the call; vehicle located and driver advised to turn it down.

10:10 p.m. Deputy performed security checks along the Wagner Hwy.

10:20 p.m. Male reported “lots of traffic, must be something going on”, near his residence; Deputy responded to the call; vehicle located and driver advised.

11:06 p.m. PC Hospital requested an ambulance for a flight crew pick up from the airport, transport to the hospital and back to the airport with their patient; local EMT Crew handled the call.

11:15 p.m. Male reported a “peeping tom” in a Saco residential area; Deputy responded to the call; all found to be quiet in the area.

12:16 a.m. Deputy performed security checks in the Sleeping Buffalo area.

6:55 a.m. PC Hospital requested an ambulance for a flight crew pick up from the airport, transport to the hospital and back to the airport with their patient; local EMT Crew handled the call.

9:42 a.m. Flood Advisory for northeastern Phillips Co until 945pm Monday.

10:01 a.m. Male reported his vehicle was disabled and needed a tow truck; caller given local phone numbers.

10:51 a.m. Male requested law enforcement assistance with damage to one of his vehicles; Deputy responded to the call; case file started.

12:35 p.m. Flood Warning continues for the Milk River at Dodson, Malta, Saco until further notice.

1:19 p.m. US Customs & Border Protection Officer requested PCSO assistance with a vehicle at the Port of Morgan; Deputy responded to the call; case file started.

3:23 p.m. Local convenience store reported a fuel drive off; Deputy responded to the call; information passed onto Blaine Co, Ft Belknap LE and MHP Dispatch as well; vehicle not located in Phillips Co.

7:40 p.m. Male reported a lost cell phone.

8:16 p.m. Male reported a fender/bender in a residential area; no injuries to the occupants; Deputy and Reserve Deputy responded to the call; case file started.

9:22 p.m. Female reported suspicious activity at a next door house that no one is currently living in; Deputy handled the call.

10:10 p.m. Reserve Deputy perfumed building checks in the Saco area.

10:36 a.m. Deputy reported the River Road, north of Malta, is closed.

11:54 a.m. Flood Warning for small streams remains in effect until 330am Tuesday for east central Phillips Co.

2:04 p.m. Male reported a “kid on a 4wheeler, pulling a kid on a skateboard” on Central Ave; Undersheriff responded to the call; kids located and were headed to the skate park.

8:39 p.m. Several calls received reporting a male hitchhiker on Hwy 2, near Saco; Deputy responded to the call; male located and was okay.

9:20 p.m. Flood Warning continues for the Milk River at Dodson, Malta, Saco until further notice.

10:54 p.m. 911 received reporting a vehicle with a blown tire on Hwy 191 south of the Missouri River; information passed onto Fergus Co SO.

April 23, 2018

6:25 a.m. Small Stream Flood Advisory remains in effect until 615am Wednesday for northeastern Phillips Co.

8:37 a.m. Valley Co SO received an erratic vehicle complaint, westbound from the Valley/Phillips Co line; Deputy responded to the call; vehicle located and driving was fine.

8:57 a.m. Deputy performed a welfare check on a vehicle alongside of Hwy 2, east of the Sleeping Buffalo; driver was having vehicle trouble and was waiting for help to arrive.

9:44 a.m. Reserve Deputy reported water going across the Dehy Road.

9:58 a.m. 911 received requesting an ambulance for a female who passed out at school; Undersheriff and local EMT Crew responded to the call; patient transported to the PC Hospital.

10:59 a.m. Flood Warning continues for the Milk River at Dodson, Malta, Saco until further notice.

12:48 p.m. Female reported a dog running loose in a residential area; information passed onto ACO.

1:13 p.m. Deputy received a report of a juvenile playing with a stick in the street; juvenile not located.

1:51 p.m. Female requested law enforcement assistance with advising an individual they are no longer welcome at an apartment complex; Deputy handled the call.

3:29 p.m. Female reported a power outage and NorthWestern Energy had already been advised.

5:52 p.m. Male reported receiving a strange text message from an unknown number; Undersheriff and Deputy handled the call.

3:33 a.m. Local business reported a possibly abandoned vehicle in their parking lot and it needed to be removed for street cleaning; Deputy handled the call.

8:31 a.m. Flood Warning continues for the Milk River at Dodson, Malta, Saco until further notice.

10:49 a.m. Female reported Hwy 363 was under water near the junction with Hwy 2; information passed onto PC Commissioners.

11:34 a.m. Female reported an IRS scam.

11:50 a.m. Kenco Security reported a commercial burglar alarm sounding at a local business; Undersheriff responded to the call; all found to be okay and alarm reset.

12:27 p.m. Female reported a “kid on a very small motorcycle”; Reserve Deputy responded to the call; individual not located.

2:59 p.m. Small stream Flood Advisory remains in effect until 615am Wednesday for northeastern Phillips Co.

5:19 p.m. Life Alert requested medical assistance for an elderly female; information passed onto Hi-Line Retirement Center employee as the female lived there.

9:17 p.m. Flood Warning continues for the Milk River at Dodson, Malta, Saco until further notice.

9:49 p.m. Male reported the City Well was not working behind Farmers & Ranchers; information passed onto City employee.

11:10 p.m. Female requested a security check on her apartment as she was out of town; Deputy responded to the call; all found to be okay.

April 25, 2018

3:57 a.m. Local apartment manager requested law enforcement assistance with a female who had been advised she was no longer allowed on the property; Deputy responded to the call; female located and advised to stay off the property or a citation would be issued.

5:15 a.m. Small stream Flood Advisory has been extended until 615am Thursday for northeastern Phillips Co.

8:36 a.m. Flood Warning continues for the Milk River at Dodson, Malta, Saco until further notice.

11:37 a.m. Individual reported an injured deer in the Dodson area; Deputy responded to the call; deer located and humanely euthanized.

12:07 p.m. Local resident reported juveniles going into an abandon building; Undersheriff and Deputy responded to the call; juveniles located and advised to have their parents call in; case file started.

12:44 p.m. Dodson School employee requested law enforcement assistance with a situation involving a parent; Deputy handled the call.

3:27 p.m. PC Hospital requested an ambulance for a flight crew pick up from the airport, transport to the hospital and back to the airport with their patient; local EMT Crew handled the call.

3:45 p.m. Small Stream Flood Advisory is canceled for northeastern Phillips.

4:21 p.m. 911 received requesting assistance for a female who fell and couldn’t get up; local EMT Crew responded to the call; patient not transported to the hospital.

4:32 p.m. Deputy assisted with traffic control for 4H Clubs cleaning Hwy 191 south.

4:37 p.m. Male reported his Wagner residence was flooding and they were going to evacuate the residence; information passed onto Undersheriff.

6:56 p.m. Female reported theft of checks; Deputy responded to the call; caller advised Ft Belknap LE or Blaine Co SO had jurisdiction on this complaint.

8:00 p.m. Flood Warning continues for the Milk River at Dodson, Malta, Saco until further notice.

9:47 p.m. Female requested a security check done on a local apartment; Deputy responded to the call; no one found in the apartment.

6:06 a.m. Flood Warning for snowmelt remains in effect until 2pm Saturday for northeastern Phillips Co.

9:58 a.m. Deputy performed a security check on the Alkali Fishing Access site off of Hwy 363; parking lot found to be under water due to flooding of the Milk River.

9:25 a.m. Flood Warning continues for the Milk River at Dodson, Malta, Saco until further notice.

10:42 a.m. 911 received requesting an ambulance for a male having trouble breathing; Deputy and local EMT Crew responded to the call; patient transported to the PC Hospital.

11:36 a.m. Male requested law enforcement assistance with an issue involving dogs; Deputy handled the call.

12:53 p.m. Female reported a stray dog in the Hillcrest area; information passed onto ACO.

1:10 p.m. Female reported theft of property; Deputy responded to the call; case file started.

1:13 p.m. PC Hospital requested an ambulance to transport a patient from the hospital back to their residence; local EMT Crew handled the call.

5:34 p.m. Havre Border Patrol received a report of two individuals “under a bridge west of Dodson”; Deputy responded to the call; all found to be okay, individuals were trying to get to Wolf Point.

7:48 p.m. Male filed a verbal complaint about juveniles driving by his residence; Deputy responded to the call; vehicle not located.

9:20 p.m. Female reported a newborn calf on her back deck; Deputies responded to the call; owner located and retrieved the calf.

9:42 p.m. Female reported a dumpster fire at the County dump; Deputy and local Fire Dept responded to the call; fire doused and monitored for the night.

10:03 p.m. Female reported she had just been assaulted by a family member; Deputies responded to the call; case file started.

10:28 p.m. Female requested law enforcement assistance with removing two individuals from her property; Deputies responded to the call; individuals given a one night stay at a local motel through Ministerial Assistance.

11:43 p.m. Flood Warning continues for the Milk River at Dodson, Malta, Saco until further notice.

April 27, 2018

12:54 a.m. Deputy performed security checks around Malta.

2:48 a.m. Deputy advised the dumpster fire was flaring up again; Malta FD responded and doused it with more water; fire continued to be monitored through the night and the following day.

5:36 a.m. Several more calls received reporting the fire in the County dumpster; callers advised had been reported and was being monitored.

8:50 a.m. Flood Warning continues for the Milk River at Dodson, Malta, Saco until further notice.

9:45 a.m. Malta FD reported they were going to put more water on the dumpster fire as it was continuing to flare up.

12:24 p.m. 911 received reporting a grass fire north of Saco; Deputy, Saco and Malta FDs responded to the call; fire later controlled and extinguished.

1:12 p.m. Deputy reported Hinsdale FD was also responding to the grass fire north of Saco.

2:01 p.m. Lake Wind Advisory in effect from 10am-8pm Saturday.

2:31 p.m. Female reported a missing purse; Deputy handled the call.

4:21 p.m. Local apartment manager reported a disturbance at a tenant’s apartment; Deputy responded to the call; all found to be okay.

5:22 p.m. Several calls received reporting a fire and lots of smoke south of Malta; all callers advised was a reported controlled burn.

7:03 p.m. 911 received reporting a structure fire north of Saco; Deputy, Reserve Deputy, Saco FD & EMT Crew responded to the call; fire controlled, contained and monitored for the night.

8:05 p.m. Flood Warning continues for the Milk River at Dodson, Malta, Saco until further notice.
