Lower Trafton Trail still closed due to muddy conditions

Malta Trails Laura Pankratz would like to remind people not to walk or ride bikes on the Trafton Lower Nature Trail.

She said Malta Trails will notify the public when the trail is ready for bicyclist and pedestrians.

"It's too muddy, ruins the trail, and is not safe right now," she said. "Maintaining a rutted up trail is tough... we have to hire equipment to fix it, and many times its so soft on the lower trail, bobcats and other equipment get stuck and can't help us out."
