On Thursday, May 3, Ron Lundman took first with 5,380, second was Noel Emond with 5,050 and the traveling prize was awarded to Clair Waters and Lou Olson.
Malta Duplicate Bridge Club
On Wednesday, April 25, Billie Rae Maxie and Bob Maxie took first place, second place was Malcolm Clouse and Les Solberg.
The following Wednesday, Margo Rush and Bonnie Millar captured first place and the team of Mary LaFond and Malcolm Clouse came in second.
Hi-Line Whist
On Tuesday, May 2, Clara and Francis won the first game 13-10 before Lois and Don roared back with a Grandslam-to-0 victory.
"They were good," Pearl said. "They left them in the dust."
On Thursday, May 4, Pearl and Frances won the first game by a 18-0 tally before Clara and Lois found some revenge with a 13-3 win.
"The little skunk came in, left his smell, but not for long," Pearl said. "They cleaned it up real fast."
On Friday, May 5, Pearl and Clara won the first two (18-3 and 15-12) before Lois and Agnes earned a 13-7 win.
"We were doing great then they came and pushed us out," Pearl said.
