Now that Spring is approaching, the track teams have not been able to practice due to snow and cold. They may have to cancel track this year. Too bad.

4-25. There was a retirement party for Jeanie Green, as she was Postmaster in Loring. The party was at the North 40, and there was a good attendance. All of Jeanie’s children and some grandchildren came. Some who visited were Sally’s sister Pat Donich and husband Tom from Seeley Lake, Mont.; cousin Pat Copenhaver of Enumclaw, Wash.; Serena Green Venable (former Whitewater High School grad) and her daughter Ashley and family from Miles City, Mont.; Anita and Brian Green; Jan and Jenn Green; Heather Jenkins of Malta; Jeanie’s son Dale Green and family from Minnesota; Merissa Wahl and family; Melanie and Mya Slade; and, of course, Dale Green and his family. It was a very nice party.
Aloha to Whitewater High Scholl students who are in Hawaii for a sneak trip! Fun.
The school carnival at Whitewater will be on Thursday, April 26 at 5:30 p.m. There will be games, lunch, and bingo. All are welcome.
The track teams from schools will meet in Whitewater on Thursday, May 3, weather permitting.
The snow has melted and today is warm and sunny. I heard the geese, birds and even a meadowlark. It’s spring! Go for a walk.
