One Nation, Under God

Dodson News for April 18, 2017

It is so nice to start seeing bare ground. The snow is settling and melting every day but it is supposed to get a little colder again and possibly rain.

Up North, people are all saying roads are terrible —the large stacks of snow on each side of the road are melting so the middle is just like a river as they hold the water in.

Terri Cole was in Malta on business on Friday.

Dean and Carol Kienenberger went to Great Falls Sunday to see her brother, Joe, in a Hospice there after suffering a stroke.

It is nice to see Tammy Voise out and around with different people again and taking part in the community.

It was a little sad to see a part of one of Dodson's oldest family residents leave as Barbara Haubrich moved to Hamilton to live with her brother Eddie. Not many of the "old" families left as new ones are moving in.

Memorial services were held in Butte on Monday for Don Hurlbert. Don was a plumber here for several years under Jacobs Plumbing and his daughter, Corliss Nelson, worked for the First State Bank. Condolences are sent to wife Cathy and family.

Birthday greetings are extended to all celebrating a birthday this week.

Courage is resistance to fear, mastery of fear, not absence of fear.

Have a good week and enjoy the warmer weather.
