Mavericks lose out

The season ended for the North Country Mavericks last Friday, February 23, in Wolf Point, as the team fell to the Mon-Dak Thunder in the elimination round of the 2018 Eastern C Divisional Tournament.

The Mavericks had reached the semi-final round after defeating Savage 68-51 in the opening round of the tournament on Wednesday, February 21. The team went on to lose 62-40 to Fairview on Thursday, February 22 and then 61-54 to Mon-Dak (Westby-Grenora) on Friday, February 23.
