1:08 a.m. Deputy performed security checks around the Malta area.
3:09 a.m. Winter Weather Advisory is canceled.
7:58 a.m. Male reported a missing dog.
8:55 a.m. Male reported an injured deer and it was also stuck in the snow off of Hwy 363; Deputy responded to the call; deer not located.
9:56 a.m. Male reported Military Honors would be occurring at a local church for a Military funeral this am.
10:30 a.m. Male reported an injured deer on Hwy 363; deer located and humanely euthanized.
1:09 p.m. Case worker from Adult Protective Services requested PCSO assistance with a current case; Deputy handled the call.
2:46 p.m. 911 received requesting a male be removed from a local residence; Deputy responded to the call; male left the location without further incident.
3:39 p.m. Female requested law enforcement assistance with a male threatening suicide; Deputies responded to the call; case file started.
4:32 p.m. Deputy took one adult male into Protective Custody and transported him to the PC Hospital for medical evaluation.
7:50 p.m. Flathead Co SO served a local warrant on one adult male, David Pierce; male incarcerated in their facility on that charge. Please remember to file a new burn permit for the 2018 year. If you plan on doing any burning in 2018, please file one BEFORE you start to burn. These permits are good for all of 2018 and you only have to file one a year, not every time you burn. All 2017 permits will no longer be valid after December 31, 2017. Thank you!

7:22 a.m. Phillips Co EMTs reported to the PC Courthouse for an EMT Refresher course.
7:44 a.m. Both Malta Ambulances reported to the PC Courthouse for the EMT Refresher course.
10:40 a.m. Female reported a male walking on Hwy 191 south of Malta and was not dressed for the weather; information passed onto Deputies; male not located on Hwy 191.
3:00 p.m. Female reported a female, not properly dressed for the weather, walking on Hwy 2; Deputy responded to the call; female located and was okay, just trying to get to Glasgow.

7:24 a.m. Phillips Co EMTs reported to the PC Courthouse for an EMT Refresher course.
8:00 a.m. Malta Ambulance reported to the PC Courthouse for the EMT Refresher course.
11:18 a.m. Female reported an attempted burglary to a business; Deputy responded to the call; case file started.
5:12 p.m. Male reported a Hit & Run to his vehicle; Deputy responded to the call; case file started.
7:08 p.m. Deputy performed security checks in the Dodson area.
January 22, 2018
10:09 a.m. 911 received reporting a one vehicle accident on the Regina Road south of Malta; no injuries to the driver; Undersheriff, Motor Carrier Officer and MHP Trooper responded to the call; MHP handled the crash.
12:18 p.m. Female reported an Identity Theft; Sheriff responded to the call; case file started.
2:30 p.m. Undersheriff released one adult male, Christopher Embree, from PCSO Jail on time served.
4:30 p.m. Undersheriff released one adult male, Landon Costin, from PCSO Jail on time served.
9:11 p.m. Deputy performed a welfare check on a vehicle with hazard lights on parked alongside of Hwy 2, near the Old Malta Auto; no one located around the vehicle.
10:03 p.m. Male reported a vehicle with its hazards on, off of Hwy 2, just east of Malta; caller advised it had been checked out already and all was okay.

3:47 p.m. Deputy transported one adult male, David Pierce, from Flathead Co Detention Center to PCSO Jail to be incarcerated on Sexual Intercourse without Consent-Felony charges.
6:21 p.m. Several calls received reporting an injured deer on Hwy 191, just south of Malta; Deputy responded to the call; deer not located.
9:13 p.m. Deputy closed a door that was left open on the Pavilion.
9:23 p.m. Female requested assistance for another female who had fallen; individual did not want an ambulance; Deputies handled the call.
January 24, 2018
2:06 p.m. Undersheriff transported one adult male, David Pierce, to Valley Co Detention to await trial.
4:59 p.m. 911 received reporting a suicide at a local residence; Sheriff, Undersheriff, and Deputies responded to the call; coroner case file started.
5:03 p.m. Male reported concern for a local male after seeing an obituary posted on the individual’s private Facebook page; caller advised Deputies were enroute to the residence as we speak.
5:59 p.m. Male called and requested a welfare check on a local male after seeing a post on his private Facebook page; information passed onto Deputies.
7:48 p.m. Female reported a SAT (Scholastic Aptitude Test) scam.
11:35 p.m. Deputy performed a security check on garage door that was left open behind a business; all found to be okay and nothing taken.

10:29 a.m. 911 received reporting a possible suicide in Belgrade; information passed onto Belgrade PD.
January 26, 2018
8:43 a.m. Male requested assistance with a Protection Order Violation; Deputies responded to the call; case file started.
1:14 p.m. 911 received reporting an erratic semi truck and trailer on Hwy 191, southbound; vehicle wasn’t letting other vehicles pass; information passed onto local MHP Trooper; semi located and driving was okay, Trooper advised it was also very windy out south.
3:14 p.m. Female requested law enforcement assistance with getting a vehicle back from a property in Malta; Deputy handled the call.
3:20 p.m. Deputy incarcerated one adult male, Landon Costin, into PCSO Jail to serve time on another jurisdiction’s sentencing.
4:37 p.m. Western Security Monitoring reported a commercial fire alarm sounding at a local business; all found to be okay, just a false alarm.
4:44 p.m. Local Ambulance reported to the Malta High School for the wrestling matches.
