January 5, 2018

11:59 p.m. Female requested a welfare check on a male walking on Hwy 363; caller was concerned as he wasn’t dressed for the weather; Deputies responded to the call; male found to be okay, and was warm, just walking to a family member’s house.

January 6, 2018

2:00 a.m. Female reported a suspicious smell coming from a neighbor’s apartment; Deputies responded to the call; no smell located in the reported apartment or surrounding area.

10:38 a.m. Male requested law enforcement assistance with getting property back from another residence; Deputy handled the call.

12:26 p.m. Female reported an unwanted male in her yard; Deputy handled the call.

5:37 p.m. Local MHP Trooper requested PCSO assistance with a traffic stop, east of Malta; Deputy responded to the call; case file started.

5:45 p.m. Female requested law enforcement assistance with removing a juvenile from her residence; Deputy responded to the call; case file started.

5:59 p.m. Deputy transported one adult male, Jacob Ahlgren, to PCSO to be incarcerated in PCSO Jail on Criminal Possession of Dangerous Drugs, Criminal Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Speeding charges.

6:00 p.m. Local MHP Trooper transported one adult male, Zachary Holtgrewe, to PCSO to be incarcerated in PCSO Jail on Criminal Possession of Dangerous Drugs and Criminal Possession of Drug Paraphernalia charges.

7:39 p.m. Female reported a suspicious smell coming from a tenant’s apartment; Deputy responded to the call; case file started.

8:08 p.m. Pondera Co MHP Trooper served a local warrant on one adult male, Kyle Krapf.

9:58 p.m. Deputy assisted local MHP Trooper on a traffic stop east of Malta; case file started.

10:17 p.m. Reported of hearing gunshots to the west of Malta; noise found to be fireworks being lit off.

10:46 p.m. Local MHP Trooper transported one adult male, Donald Olson, to PCSO to be incarcerated in PCSO Jail on DUI charges; male later released to family on bond.

January 7, 2018

7:10 a.m. Deputy released two adult males, Jacob Ahlgren and Zachary Holtgrewe, from PCSO Jail on bond.

1:14 p.m. Male reported a dead deer in his yard; local Fish & Game Warden handled the call.

4:30 p.m. Female reported she was “being followed by a crazy person”; Deputy responded to the call; individual located and advised to stay away from the caller.

7:58 p.m. Female reported a possible fire at a residence north of Malta; Deputy, local Fire Dept and Ambulance responded to the call; all found to be okay and no fire located.

January 8, 2018

5:55 p.m. Female filed a verbal complaint regarding her neighbor’s dog running loose and getting into the caller’s garbage; Deputy and ACO handled the call.

8:57 p.m. Male reported a flare up on the controlled burn at the Wagner dump and requested the Fire Dept; Malta Fire Dept responded to the call; Phillips Co employee advised to cancel the FD, it was being monitored.

10:37 p.m. Female reported a suspicious smell coming from a family member’s neighbor’s apartment; Deputies responded to the call; no smell located in the reported apartment or surrounding area.

January 9, 2018

3:40 a.m. Winter Weather Advisory in effect from 10pm tonight until 6pm Wednesday.

7:56 a.m. Reserve Deputy reported a disabled vehicle on Hwy 2, near the Sleeping Buffalo turnoff and was waiting for help to arrive.

12:09 p.m. Female reported a missing cat.

2:29 p.m. Female reported a train blocking the crossing near the Big Flat ware yard for an extended amount of time; information passed onto BNSF Police.

2:49 p.m. Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect from 10pm tonight until 6pm Wednesday.

3:25 p.m. PC Hospital requested an ambulance for a flight crew pick up from the airport, transport to the hospital and back to the airport with their patient; local EMT Crew handled the call.

4:45 p.m. Male reported a possible break-in to his residence; Deputy responded to the call; caller just wanted it documented at this time.

5:32 p.m. 911 received reported a female had taken “lots of pills” at a local residence; Deputies and local EMT Crew responded to the call; patient transported to the PC Hospital; case file started.

6:15 p.m. PC Hospital requested assistance for juveniles involved in the above ambulance call; Deputy responded to the call; Dept of Child and Family Service handled the request.

6:31 p.m. 911 received requesting an ambulance for an elderly male who was “very sick with the flu” near Loring; local EMT Crew responded to the call; patient transported to the PC Hospital.

6:56 p.m. PC Hospital requested an ambulance for a flight crew pick up from the airport, transport to the hospital and back to the airport with their patient; local EMT Crew handled the call.

8:07 p.m. Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until 6pm Wednesday.

8:39 p.m. Female reported her neighbor’s dog had “been barking for the last 2 hours”; Deputy responded to the call; owner located and dog was taken inside.

9:05 p.m. Female reported loud music coming from a neighbor’s apartment; Deputy responded to the call; individual’s advised to turn it down for the night.

11:05 p.m. Winter Weather Advisory in effect until 6pm Wednesday.

3:03 a.m. Winter Weather Advisory now in effect until 6am Thursday; Winter Storm Watch in effect from Thursday afternoon through Thursday night.

7:33 a.m. PC Hospital requested an ambulance for a ground transport to the Glasgow Airport to meet Stat Air; local EMT Crew handled the call.

9:02 a.m. Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until 6am Thursday; Winter Storm Watch in effect from Thursday afternoon through Thursday night.

11:38 a.m. Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until 6am Thursday; Winter Storm Watch in effect from Thursday afternoon through Thursday night.

2:22 p.m. Male reported Hwy 2, east of Saco, was starting to drift in; information passed onto Valley Co SO.

2:58 p.m. Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until 6am Thursday; Winter Storm Watch remains in effect from Thursday afternoon through late Thursday night.

4:58 p.m. Female reported a possibly missing or stolen license plate; Deputy responded to the call; case file started.

7:12 p.m. Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until 6am Thursday; Winter Storm Watch remains in effect from Thursday afternoon through late Thursday night.

10:06 p.m. Wind Chill Advisory in effect until 11am Thursday; Winter Storm Watch remains in effect from Thursday afternoon through late night.

3:07 a.m. Wind Chill Advisory now in effect until 5pm; Winter Weather Advisory in effect from 5pm today until 5pm Friday.

2:25 p.m. Wind Chill Advisory remains in effect until 5pm; Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect from 5pm tonight until 5am Friday; both for most of Phillips Co.

Wind Chill Advisory now in effect until 5am Friday; Winter Weather Advisory is canceled; both for northern Phillips Co.

3:26 p.m. Female reported possible child abuse; Deputy responded to the call; case file started.

4:36 p.m. Female reported she found the license plate she previously reported as lost or stolen.

5:13 p.m. Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until 5am Friday for most of Phillips Co; Wind Chill Advisory remains in effect until 5am Friday for northern Phillips Co.

8:57 p.m. Female reported she was involved with a scam; Deputy responded to the call; case file started.

January 12, 2018

1:44 a.m. Female requested assistance at a Dodson residence; Deputy handled the call.

2:16 a.m. Deputy performed security checks in the Dodson area.

2:28 a.m. Deputy performed a welfare check on a vehicle with all of the doors open in front of a local business; all found to be okay, just taking things upstairs to an apartment.

3:32 a.m. Wind Chill Warning in effect until 10am Saturday for northern Phillips Co.

8:29 a.m. Individual reported a missing wallet.

9:08 a.m. Male requested an ambulance for a female having issues with her pacemaker; local EMT Crew responded to the call; patient transported to the PC Hospital.

10:47 a.m. Male reported a fender/bender at a local business; Deputy responded to the call; case file started.

1:13 p.m. Deputy incarcerated one adult male, Christopher Embree, to serve time on sentencing.

2:16 p.m. Wind Chill Advisory remains in effect until 10am Saturday.

2:40 p.m. 911 received reporting an accident near Hinsdale; call transferred to Valley Co SO.

January 13, 2018

3:05 a.m. Wind Chill Advisory remains in effect until 10am today.

4:17 a.m. Male reported a tractor fire and did not want the Fire Dept; just called to report it in case someone called about smoke east of Malta.

9:55 a.m. Male reported a disabled vehicle on Hwy 2, west of Malta; Deputy responded to the call; no disabled vehicle located between Malta and Wagner.

9:58 a.m. Wind Chill Advisory is canceled.

3:24 p.m. Havre PD served two local warrants on one adult male, Robert Bear III; male held on their charges and will later be transported to Valley Co SO on Phillips County charges.

11:48 p.m. Male reported a vehicle in the ditch, north of Malta, on Hwy 191; Deputies responded to the call; vehicle not located.

January 14, 2018

2:44 a.m. Wind Chill Advisory in effect from 9pm tonight until 10am Tuesday.

8:25 a.m. 911 received requesting an ambulance for a female having stomach pains for an extended amount of time; local EMT Crew responded to the call; patient transported to the PC Hospital.

12:25 p.m. Repossession company employee reported being chased off of property with a weapon; just wanted it reported at this time.

12:57 p.m. PC Hospital requested an ambulance for a flight crew pick up from the airport, transport to the hospital and back to the airport with their patient; local EMT Crew handled the call; request later canceled due to not being able to land in Billings.

1:01 p.m. PC Hospital requested an ambulance for a ground transport to Glasgow; local EMT Crew handled the call.

2:09 p.m. Wind Chill Advisory remains in effect from 9pm tonight until 10am Tuesday.

2:39 p.m. PC Hospital advised the ground transport had been changed back to a flight crew pick up again; local EMT Crew handled the call.

9:25 p.m. Deputy performed security checks in the Dodson area.

9:45 p.m. Female reported a suspicious odor coming from an apartment; Deputies responded to the call; no odor located.

January 15, 2018

3:07 a.m. Wind Chill Advisory remains in effect until 10am Tuesday.

2:14 p.m. Wind Chill Advisory remains in effect until 10am Tuesday.

3:02 p.m. Female filed a verbal complaint about an individual parking on the wrong side of the street and facing the wrong direction; information passed onto Undersheriff.

4:46 p.m. Deputy reported a vehicle stuck in the Malta Cemetery; cemetery caretaker advised and assisted with getting the vehicle unstuck.

January 16, 2018

3:37 a.m. Wind Chill Advisory remains in effect until 10am today.

6:44 a.m. Female requested an ambulance for another female at a local residence; no response from any EMTs; patient transported by personal vehicle.

7:09 a.m. Malta Headstart reported an abandoned vehicle in their parking lot; owner located and advised to move it.

9:59 a.m. Wind Chill Advisory will expire at 10am.

10:43 a.m. Female requested law enforcement assistance with a possibly forgery; Undersheriff responded to the call; case file started.

3:25 p.m. Male reported a possible scam.

January 17, 2018

10:41 a.m. A transport company reported an oversized load would be going through Phillips Co today on Hwy 2.

11:54 a.m. PC Hospital requested an ambulance for a ground transport to Havre and back with their patient; local EMT Crew handled the call.

1:25 p.m. PC Hospital requested an ambulance for a flight crew pick up from the airport, transport to the hospital and back to the airport with their patient; local EMT Crew handled the call.

5:28 p.m. Local MHP Trooper reported an abandoned vehicle on the Airport Road; owner located and advised the vehicle needed to be moved or it would be towed.

6:15 p.m. Individuals requested law enforcement assistance with a situation involving a juvenile; Deputy handled the call.

6:48 p.m. Female reported an IRS scam.

January 18, 2018

12:32 p.m. Male reported a dangerous driver near an apartment complex and school area; Deputy responded to the call; vehicle located and was parked, driver was not around.

1:34 p.m. Winter Weather Advisory in effect from 9pm tonight until 5am Friday for most of Phillips Co.

4:12 p.m. Female reported a manhole cover not completely on the hole on a residential street; information passed onto City employee.

5:13 p.m. Deputy reported a dog running loose near a local convenience store; information passed onto ACO.

5:21 p.m. Male requested law enforcement assistance with a possibly stolen vehicle and trailer; Deputies and Ft Belknap LE responded to the call; case file started.

6:58 p.m. Female reported an IRS scam.

7:03 p.m. 911 received requesting an ambulance for a female that keeps passing out; local EMT Crew responded to the call; patient transported to the PC Hospital.

9:22 p.m. PC Hospital requested an ambulance for a flight crew pick up from the airport, transport to the hospital and back to the airport with their patient; local EMT Crew handled the call.
