Friday made it up to the 40s temperature wise and hopes for spring brought smiles to everyone's faces but days since have been slightly cooler again. It sure helped settle the snow tho. The birds that were here for a short while must have come to the conclusion that winter was not over and went back south for a while, I haven't seen any at all around for days.
It is so good to see that Dodson's boy's basketball team is doing so well---rated third in 3C after two good wins. Congratulations boys!
Lunch was served again Wednesday at the Wathatau Center and as usual was very good. Thanks for the good work girls.
Terry Cole had a meeting Wednesday afternoon.
Polly Solberg went to Billings on Friday so she could attend the speech meet at Shepherd on Saturday--her grandson Devon won second in his speech. The final meet will be next weekend at Huntley Project.
The community sends condolences to the Maxie family on the loss of dad, Jim.
He and wife Cora are well known to the community and in the law enforcement community.
Birthday greetings are sent to Paul Mortenson, Gloria Mortenson, and CeeDee Wilke and all others celebrating one more year this week.
