Sympathy is extended to the Dave Clark family on the death of his niece. Dave and Cindy took a road trip to Minot for a brief visit with the family.

I can't even comment on the weather because all the cold days are running together, and I can't keep it straight if the coldest weather was this week or last.

The Loring Woman's Club will meet at the home of Dixie Stordahl on Wednesday at 7 p.m.

I'm so thankful to the crew at Fine Line for fixing my jeep after the run-in with the deer! It is like a new vehicle! And just in case you ever need a vehicle, they have a rental vehicle!

I have certainly enjoyed my three amaryllis plants this winter. First I had a red one with two stems of four flowers, then a pale pink/white one with one stem and four blossoms. And now my third is pale pink/white with four blooms! They certainly brighten up a dreary winter day!

On Monday I co-hosted Eastern Star with Jennifer. We served Pizza from Ray J's and yummy bars with soda!

I hear that Mark Hebert is back at the News office! Keep exercising your heart, Mark!
