The Phillips County News is seeking a general assignment reporter to join their staff. This is a full time position, which would include gathering and writing news, taking photos, possibly some design work and general office work. News writing experience is preferred, but would be willing to train the right candidate. Pay and benefits depend on experience. The PCN offers a benefits package which includes health insurance and a Simple IRA.

The Phillips County News is also seeking an advertising representative and circulation manager. This is a full time position responsible for selling, growing and managing advertising sales, designing ads in Adobe InDesign. The position also includes maintaining the newspaper’s circulation. Experience helpful, but not necessary and willing to train the right candidate. Pay and benefits depend on experience.
