Koss awarded scholarship

P.E.O. Chapter AK Treasurer, Jane Knudsen, presented the 2017 Chapter AK scholarship award to Malta High School graduate Kari Koss.

Koss is attending Montana State University, Bozeman, majoring in animal science.

Yearly Chapter AK awards a Phillips County graduating woman $600.00 or more toward her college education. P.E.O. Chapter AK will meet at the Malta High School on January 10 and present a program about local and state scholarships and Cottey College in Nevada, Mo. P.E.O. Members will have applications and information for senior girls. Applications will be sent to all Phillips County high schools.

P.E.O. Sponsors scholarships, grants and low interest loans to women continuing their education.
