On Tuesday, January 4, Jeanette Heinle scored 6,820 to take first place while Sherman Doucette scored 5,110 good for second. The traveling prize for the day was awarded to both Harvey Smith and Kevin Stevens.
12-28. On Thursday, December 28, Malcolm Clouse had 7090 points for first place and Von Holzhey had 7070 points for second place. Traveling prize went to Sherman Doucette and Malcolm Clouse.
12-21. On Thursday, December 21, 2017, Nina Jones had 5830 for first place and Malcolm Clouse had 5530 points for second place. Traveling prize went to Lou Olson and Noel Emond.
Hi-Line Whist
On Friday, January 5, Clara and Agnes had 15 points for first place and Pearl and Frances had 7 points for second. And then it turned around, Frances and Pearl had 18 points good for first place and Agnes and Clara had 2 points for second. “They were good and then we set them a lot. Happy we all were,” Pearl said.
On Tuesday, January 2, 2018, Delores and Clara had 13 points for first place and Pearl and Frances had 10 points for second place. Pearl reported, “We came up and fell in the end.”
On Friday, December 29, Clara and Agnes had 14 points for first place and Pearl and Delores had 7 points for second. “Like a whirlwind they came from behind and left us in the dust,” Pearl said.
On Tuesday, December 26, Pearl reported, “the cold got us so home we all stayed!”
