Audiences of all ages will get a fresh look at an old favorite this Friday and Saturday,
January 12 th and 13 th , when the Missoula Children’s Theatre (MCT) and more than 50 local
students present BEAUTY LOU AND THE COUNTRY BEAST. Featured as Beauty Lou will
be Renzey Raymond and Madyson Warburton. The Younger Daughters and Older
Daughters will be played by Lola Snell, Rylee Matthews, Sabra Sims, Saydee Kapp, Alex
Oshio, Kayla Ottinger, Giona Lamb, Justine Lamb, Corrine Hofer, Madyson Bain, Izzie
Hallenberg and Emma Casebolt. Imaginary Friend will be played by Anna Harms. Beast
will be played by Mathew Hunter. Dusty and Slim the helpful farmhands will be played by
Drasen Neumiller and James Pearson. Faithful friend Fleabite Clyde, the dog, will be
played by Danaley Smith. Hoping to win enough money to save the family farm, Buck sets
off for the rodeo and is joined by the rest of the Country Folk and Barnyard Critters played
by Aubri Werk, Emma Harms, Tia Siewing, Emauni Johannesen, Mercedes Mayer, Roy
Alexander, Braydon Rhoads, Brooklynn Knowles, Emree Stuart, Jeslyn McCorkle, Amber
Pearson, Sidney Mayer, Kelbie Nelson, Danika Wilke, Jade Imlay, Madelyn Ohl, MyKayla
Davis, Hunter Tremblay, Mary Jane Beaman, Kenzie LaBrie, Layla Messerly, Lena
Tremblay, Karlie LaBrie, Keena Reed, Kori Kelsey, Kallie LaBrie, Alethea Austin, Nolan
Moore, Kodi Knudsen, Athena Moore, Shelby Snellman, Summer Bessman, Roxy Hickel,
Mira Judd, Madelynn Tatafu, Hailey Latray, Mathew Bilger, Trevor Knowles, Janae
Messerly and Taya Wilke. Gabriella Rich, Clayton Hallenberg and Gabby Giblette have
served as Assistant Directors throughout the week.
BEAUTY LOU AND THE COUNTRY BEAST will be presented at 5:30 p.m. on Friday
and 11:00 a.m. Saturday at the Malta High School Auditorium. Tickets are available at the
door.
The Missoula Children’s Theatre residency in Malta is presented locally by the Malta
Elementary School with support from Art’s Furniture, Big Flat Electric, Buechler Insurance,
