Children's Theatre Audition

An audition will be held for the Missoula Children's Theatre (MCT) production of BEAUTY LOU AND THE COUNTRY BEAST Monday, January 8th, 2018 at the Malta High School Auditorium from 3:30 pm to 5:30 pm. Those auditioning should arrive at 3:20 pm and plan to stay for the full two hours. Some of the cast members will be asked to stay for a rehearsal immediately following the audition.

Among the roles to be cast are Beauty Lou, Imaginary Friend, Beast, Dusty and Slim the farmhands, Fleabite Clyde the dog, the Younger Daughters, the Older Daughters, the Country Folk and the Barnyard Critters. Enrolled Malta Public School students, grades Kindergarten through 8th grade are encouraged to audition. No advance preparation is necessary. Assistant Directors will also be cast to aid in rehearsals throughout the week and to take on essential backstage responsibilities.

The Missoula Children's Theatre touring productions are complete with costumes, scenery, props and makeup. The MCT Tour Actor/Directors will conduct rehearsals throughout the week from 3:30 pm to 8:00 pm each day.

BEAUTY LOU AND THE COUNTRY BEAST will be presented on Friday 5:30 pm, January 12th and Saturday 11:00 am, January 13th at the Malta High School Auditorium. The Missoula Children's Theatre residency is brought to you by Malta Elementary School with support from local businesses.
