Whist

On Tuesday, December 11, Margaret Leader had 44 points for first place and Leonard Leader 43 for second place. Traveling prize went to Clarence Blunt.

Pinochle

On Thursday, December 14, Nina Jones had 6230 points for first place and Shirley Jones had 5660 points for second place. Traveling prize went to Shirley Jones and Harvey Smith.

Duplicate Bridge

A Club Championship game was held at the Christmas party on December 11. Margo Rush and Madelyn Anderson ranked first. Billie Rae Maxie and Bonnie Millar took second place.

Wednesday winners were Les Solberg and Margo Rush. Malcolm Clouse and Billie Rae Maxie secured second place.

There will be no more games until Wednesday, January 3. If we are to continue playing in 2018, we will need additional players, so if anyone at all is interested, please contact any bridge member.

Hi-Line Whist

On Tuesday, December 12, Agnes and Pearl made light work of Gloria and Clara, winning both contests on the afternoon, 15-1 in the first and 13-8 in the second.

“We were in a hurry and away we went,” Pearl declared.

On Friday, December 15, Clara and Agnes beat Gloria and Pearl by a 13-7 score and in the next two contests, Gloria and Pearl triumphed with 16-11 and 13-4 tallies to Clara and Agnes.

“They were great and then we started to get them a lot,” Pearl reports.
