4H members to host Toys for Tots

Phillips County 4-H members, Spencer Gibbs and Jared Eggebrecht are hosting Toys for Tots through the Phillips County 4-H program again this year. Members are collecting toys to give at least one toy that each child has put on their wish list. The children range in age from birth to 12 years old. The Phillips County 4-H took over the program in 2013 when the Malta Womens’ Club had to step down. Since that time we helped 114 children celebrate Christmas. We have received monetary donations of over $2800.00 plus over $5,000.00 in toys. We thank all of those that have helped with this program over the years and look forward to this year.

They will be posting a list of suggested toys at the sites where there are collections boxes. The businesses include, First State Bank, First Security Bank, Independence Bank, Hardware Hank, Spare Change, Todd’s Technology and the Coffee Corner. You may also give a donation to the program by sending a check to PC 4-H Council at PO Box 430, Malta, MT 59538 or dropping one off in the toy boxes located at various businesses. We appreciate all of your help to make a child’s Christmas brighter. We will be collecting toys until December 18th. If you have any questions, please contact the PC Extension Office at 654-2543.
